Germany going strong, England held to a draw, here are some of the results from the 2018 world cup qualifiers:

Group C: Germany 2-0 Northern Ireland, Norway 4-1 San Marino, Czech Republic 0-0 Azerbaijan

Group E: Kazakhstan 0-0 Romania, Poland 2-1 Armenia, Denmark 0-1 Montenegro

Group F: Slovenia 0-0 England, Slovakia 3-0 Scotland, Lithuania 2-0 Malta

JOE HART put in a man of the match performance for England as they were unable to get a victory against Slovenia although, they remain unbeaten in the world cup qualifiers so far.

Manager Gareth Southgate dropped captain Wayne rooney and that was the major headline before the match with Liverpool midfielder Jordan Herdenson handed the captain's armband in his place.

England's problem appears to be more than Wayne rooney though as they struggled throughout the match and they have to thank Joe Hart for putting a wonderful display in goal.

Germany had no problem dealing with northen Ireland with mesut ozil running the show for them.

Goals from thomos Muller and Sami khedira have them a comfortable 2-0 victory.
