REAL MADRID TRANSFER BAN ABSOLUTELY UNJUSTIFED......via@sportsbywest3

Reacting to the transfer ban recently handed out to real Madrid, the director general of the club, jose angel sanchez has come out to say the transfer ban is ABSOLUELY UNJUSTIFIED and he is rest assured that the club will win an appeal.

The transfer ban does not affect this current transfer window, but the Spanish club have been banned for subsequent transfer windows till the summer of 2017 for signing players under the age of 18, and their subsequent registration, this will mean that the club will not be able to sign recent transfer targets like david de gea or eden hazard unless they act now in this January transfer window whilst the ban is still on.

RECALL that both Madrid teams  have been banned for this same reason,
Atletico have also been hit with a 900,000 Swiss francs fine (£620,000) while Real have been fined 360,000 Swiss francs (£250,000).
Both clubs immediately announced their intention to appeal, with Sanchez and Real's director of legal services Javier Lopez Farre appearing at a press conference at the Bernabeu on Thursday evening.

As seen in a  statement on the Real  Madrid website,  laid out is  the club's response to the three rule breaches of which they have been accused, all of which they dispute.
Quoted in Marca, Sanchez said the punishment was "totally unexpected" and "absolutely unjustified".
"It's completely untrue that we fielded players aged under 18 without registering them with the RFEF (Spanish Football Association) and that we failed to comply with the regulatory requirements," Sanchez said.
"This club has a set of ethical values and the people in charge in this area have never violated them.

The arguments made are erroneous.

However, the director general of real Madrid,
Sanchez also said the club had "high hopes" of success through FIFA's appeals procedure but would go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) if necessary.
A FIFA statement read: "The two clubs were found to have violated several provisions concerning the international transfer and first registration of minor players as well as other relevant provisions with regard to the registration and participation of certain players in competitions
Barcelona has been in the same situation, and while they failed with an appeal to CAS and FIFA, the ban was suspended and this allowed them to sign some players, most notably, luis suarez. it is very possible that real Madrid will go down this same route if their appeals are unsuccessful.
a club like real Madrid has the team to weather this storm, but competition with reigning champions of the Spanish la liga will put them on their toes and would definitely love a situation where they can reply Barcelona with a signing of their own in this affected period.
