UPDATES: FULL TIME RESULTS IN THE EPL......via@sportsbywest3

The league in England was at its best again, and Saturday 16th January 2016 saw plenty of drama.
if I told you Chelsea vs Everton ended 0-0 at half time, but finshed 3-3 by full time, would you believe me? well, this is the EPL, are you not entertained?
Guus Hiddink's Chelsea ensured that they remain unbeaten since the sack of Jose Mourinho, but they were made to work for it, they fell behind 2-0 at the bridge, via a john terry own goal, and a fine finish from Kelvin Mirallas, but they showed the mentality of champions to add a quick fire double via diego costa and fabregas, but then, two substitutes combined for Everton in Deulofeu and Fores Mori to make it 2-3 but at the 98th minute, captain john terry made up for his earlier error to draw 3-3, a controversial goal it was, with john terry looking to be offside by few yards.

Saturday in the EPL saw a early kick off fixture between Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspurs which saw spurs race to a 4-1 victory, they were made to work for it as they came from  behind, after Van Aaholt had given Sunderland the lead, Eriksen equalized and scored a brace while Kane and Dembele made the game safe.
key stat from the match: pickford became the third sunderland goalkeeper to let in 4 goals in his first EPL match this season.

the 3pm fixtures at full time:

Manchester city 4  Crystal palace 0
goals from Fabian delph and Sergio Aguero, both goals coming from outside the box.
kelechi iheanacho and Sergio aguero combined for city's second goal, david silva and aguero again.

Chelsea 3 everton 3

AFC Bournemouth 3 Norwich city 0

gosling with one of the goals, afobe(new signing this January)registers his first goal, and daniels with the other goal.

Newcastle united 2 west ham 1
goals from ayoze perez and usual suspect G.wijnaldlum, new signing, jonjo shelve was key for both goals, talk about someone who has settled in properly.
while jelavic scored for west ham.

Southampton 3  West bromich albion 0
new signing Charlie Austin watched the game live inside the stadium.
both goals came from ward prowse, with the first a a direct free kick, tadic with the third.

Aston villa  1 vs Leicester city 1

okazaki gave the foxes the lead thanks to the help of the goal line technology, after the aston villa goalkeeper made a wonderful save from vardy's initial lob, aston villa drew level in the 2nd half via gusted a man that has not scored in a very long whilw bwfore this fixture.
aston villa are now unbeaten in their last two matches in the EPL, and you never can say, they could just crawl out of the relagation zone.

AS IT STANDS, THE EPL TOP FIVE LOOKS LIKE THIS:

LEICESTER CITY with 44 points
MANCHESTER CITY with 43 points
ARSENAL with 43 points
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR with 39 points
WEST HAM with 35 points.

the bottom three are:
SWANSEA CITY with 19 points
SUNDERLAND with 18 points

ASTON VILLA with 12 points
Arsenal could return to the submit of the log on sunday, but standing in their way is a Stoke city side who have beaten both Manchester teams and Chelsea this season, and always get aresult against Arsene Wenger's side, most recently, a 3-2 over arsenal last season, a match in which Stoke city raced to a 3-0 lead.

A win for Manchester united tomorrow will see them overtake west ham at 5th position, but, catching Spurs who are 4th placed is not possible by tomorrow, as they are 5 points behind Spurs.
Liverpool have proven to be big-team eaters especially under manager KLOPP, they have ripped both Manchester city and Chelsea apart, although, they needed a last gasp equalizer against arsenal to draw 3-3, will Manchhester United be their next food?

SUPER SUNDAY IT WILL BE IN THE EPL:

LIVERPOOL VS MANCHESTER UNITED.

STOKE CITY VS ARSENAL

and on Monday,

it will be Swansea city vs Watford.
